I still, after 2 years, have not been able to get the tracking of me back working in Ha from the Alexa App. It used to work, but for strange reasons, it all seems messed up.I have Cloudflare set up as well as Nabu Casa. But when I try to do an Automation, the outside lights do not come on when I come home. Be great if anyone can have the time to help get me sorted out. I would also be willing to pay for tea and cakes for the help 
Not sure if Im linked to auto tracking in Ha either, Has you can see a total mess in HA Automation now with all the confusion with it. I have done a new fresh setup and again tested it out and it still does not work. I can see me move into the different zones but lights are not coming on or off with me. I 'm using a S25 for tracking and companion app on my mobile, with Nabu Casa, plus Cloudflare private Domain, and I feel I’m paying somthing for nothing as it worked free at the start but now I’m paying for 2 years its never worked! Hope someone has time to help me on this issue.

Trace really does not help me at all I find it hard to fully understand it but will try to post you!
Logs are also not telling me a lot either. Though I have removed some older devices that where still showing up.
I have no Google maps tracking setup in it either, and also trying to figured out the correct cookie address for it to a add into HA with Samba. Seems to be a total mess at how these Ha documents are written up as they do not really explain enough to me and I have no real clue on what I’m trying to do?
Can you please explain what this is totally meaning as I have no url in my Brower to add onto this name to add into Ha it would be a very long name!
Or do I not need Google Maps in it to work at all? DO I need anything in the Config, or will they work without anything in it?
I’m getting really frustrated and confused on it all!
- Save the cookie file to your Home Assistant configuration directory with the following name:
.google_maps_location_sharing.cookies.followed by the slugified username of the NEW Google account (account B).
- For example: If your email address was
[email protected], the filename would be:.google_maps_location_sharing.cookies.location_tracker_gmail_com.
I also think the trace as changed since yesterday and missing out the parts to get the location Zones, which was showing up yesterday, but I have been messing around all day with Google maps API and not got any where with it at all!
I followed this video except I missed certain bits where it was adding into the configuration.yaml file and made the differences there are now in the much updated HA versions!

I’ve also noticed its tracking my very old Note 10+ mobile when I look on the Map, but do not see any s25 or s24 mobile trackers either, but they are all showing up in my Mobile section in Ha
I have also checked Companion App on my mobile to make sure it working in the background too.
That is not a trace. That is your automation.
From the edit automation screen, go to Traces. Then, the three dot menu on the top right, click Download Trace. Open in notepad, copy all of it and paste here in the preformatted text tag.

I also cannot get Google Maps into Ha either! It just gives me a black screen!
Not sure if that is to do with incorrect name of the cookie or the web site address in the API section to say what allowed or not allowed is also confusing me!
I will add a few images of the other issues I think might not be helping me get a fix to this.
For the cookie naming I have attempted!
For the bit in the API section of Google Cloud I’m not fully sure what address to add in? At a guess I added my home assistant URL Ip address.
And this is the Black Screen when I have added the API into it added me as a person into it, and added the Cookie to the root of Home Assistant.

Your trace shows that it worked and turned on the lights.
For privacy you should probably edit out the coordinates to your home.
So this sections correct so it may be trying to get google into it as its not working!
I now just tested on a ipad that is not going through HA and works I think not fully certain yet.
But again does not come on soon enough.
Not at all sure why HA is and has not worked for me.
I also have it through Cloudshare and Nabu Casa so it should work!
I can turn light on and off when out, but that’s about it!
It still does not turn the lights on when I get Home.

I have now got the map to show up in Home Assistant, but again testing on this Automation no lights go off or come on.
Is there anything else it could be or for me to check, as its shared in Google maps as well!
I’ve also noticed over the 2 years to trying to get this to work that the Home name for Zones was named home_default and on a quick look last night it said it was, when the system defaults to a fallback name due to a configuration issue and had to go to a default and that I needed to add.
So I have added these settings now into the configuration.yaml

will see if it works out tonight, as I do not know how to check it while still Home.
But the Home is now named Home in the zones and positioned in the right places, as they also seemed to be away from home location too.
On me testing tonight they still did not work!
