Hi,
im thinking of building a dashboard for my HA. I have nothing against a normal monitor, however i dont want to wake it up every time i want to see information and keeping a monitor on all the time seems a bit of waste.
First i looked at E-ink displays, but theyre still quite expensive especially with bigger sizes and they usually dont come with touchscreens.
My second idea was to connect a motion detector to the display with something like hass.agent.
Hass.agent can wake on LAN, but that doesnt help if the PC controlling the Display is already on.
I could try to simulate a keypress, by launching a macro, but i wondern if im thinking to complicated here?
Did someone ever find a simpler solution here?
