Turning a jpeg url (not mjpeg) into a camera

Noticed fully kiosk browser has a way to get what’s on the camera using something like:

http://{IP}:2323/?cmd=getCamshot&time=1561430262707&password={password}

That’s cool, but it’s not mjpeg. Curious if anyone found a way to maybe poll this at X interval to create a camera in Home Assistant.
