First-time poster, please be gentle.
I’ve got a couple of new tuya-based bulbs (Arlec/Grid Connect) that I am trying to add to LocalTuya. I’ve done this many times with the same and similar types of Arlec/Grid Connect tuya bulbs and haven’t had any issues before. Just last week I successfully added my existing stash of bulbs to LocalTuya, and the integration automatically discovered them all. But with the newest bulbs, whenever I try to add them in the LocalTuya integration, it doesn’t auto-discover.
If I try to add it manually, it can’t find any DPs. I can manually specify the DPIDs, and the bulb gets added but it isn’t controllable.
I’m using v5.2.3 of LocalTuya. HA is up to date, running on a Raspberry Pi4.
Can anyone suggest what I should do? My searching hasn’t found many suggestions. I stumbled onto some references to Tuya-Local (as distinct from LocalTuya) but I don’t know how (if at all) this is different to the LocalTuya integration. For my very limited setup LocalTuya is fine, so I’d like to stick with it if I can. But if Tuya-Local will solve this problem, then I’ll jump ship.
