Tuya Ceiling Light flashable with ESPHome?

Hi there,

I’m currently searching for a ceiling light, which can work with home assistant.

I found these ceiling lights on Aliexpress:

There is a zigbee and a wifi version. The zigbee version should work with my ZHA network.
But in the future I want to flash the light with the ESPHome/OpenBeken firmware.

Does someone know, if this light can be flashed? I was not able to find it in the database.

And if yes, should I rather order the wifi or the zigbee version? Can the zigbee version be flashed with alternative firmware as well?

Could be this one with a CB3L which should work in esphome. Even if it’s a variation, there is a pretty good chance it’s supported by OpenBeken, and esphome is close to parity in terms of chip support. You could always buy one and report back what you find!

I am not aware of any mainstream Zigbee firmware alternatives. Personally, I prefer open WiFi for the configuration flexibility.
