Hi.

HA newbe here…

I have a few Nedis devices and are currently using Nedis Smartlife app.

I added Tuya and got the QR code. But when scanning it in the smartlife app I get this messag “Please use the designate APP to scan the code to log in”. But that is what I am doing. The devices are in this app.

Chatgpt lists a long guide on creating a developer account up at Tuya as a developer, creating a project etc. Is that really the only way?

No. those instructions are from years ago and the AI has no idea.
If you are installing the Core Tuya installation, the Core Docs help you thru it.
