I was able to add 32 of my Smart Life devices to Tuya Local, but one is not cooperating. When adding, it shows as off line, even though it works fine through the Smart Life app.
It is a Treatlife Model DP10 Outdoor Dimmer. I have two, and the other was added easily. I tried removing the other one thinking maybe there was a conflict, but no joy.
Even though it shows off line, I entered all the information, but it keeps coming back to this screen:
One thing I noticed is that the Device ID is different when using Cloud assisted device setup versus the Device ID found on the Tuya Developer Platform (I tried both). I couldn’t verify the Local key on the Tuya Platform, since they do not provide that information anymore to personal users. I found the correct IP address by looking at the device settings in the Smart Life app, getting the MAC address then going to my router to find the IP. There I noticed it is one of only two devices in my network that has lwip0 at the end of the IP. Could that mean something?
I also tried deleting and re-adding the device but nothing seems to work. My HA core and OS are up to date. I found this thread but it is old and didn’t help. Has anyone else encountered this?
