Tuya Smart RGB wifi floodlight

Just bought one of these, and it is easily controlled with the Tuya app. Trying to get it into HA, and whilst it’s recognised as an entity, it only shows with a toggle to get it to turn on and off in the entity view, and if I try to set an anutomation all I can do is turn it on or off, toggle it, or change colour temperature - I can’t alter the colour. Downloading the diagnostics from the device info window under entities shows it as having scenes, rgb, hsv etc. settings - but these aren’t exposed in HA.

Is there a simple way to access them or set them via the Tuya integration? Seen old posts about using TuyaLocal which I could do if that’s still relevant but am looking for simplicity if possible…

update - the entity in HA does allow me to change the colour - I hadn’t realised I could click on the bulb icon to access colour/brightness! However, there seems no way to set it in an automation… any guidance on setting that would be helpful

have set up scenes in both the app and in HA but none are accessible through an automation. Tried setting hsv colours in yaml but to no effect.

edited to add - have tried the usual data: additions to the yaml with no effect either.
