Tuya TS0501B behaviour

Hi,

I use 2 TS0501B (single led band LED controller) in various scripts and face a strange behavior I can’t solve. I use Z2M.

When I send a “switch ON” with < 20% brightness, it works as expected.

When I send “switch ON” with > 20% brightness, I have two cases:

  1. When the LED has not been switched ON for more than 12 hours (more or less), the LED flash ON and stops, but HA sees it as ON (static)
  2. When the LED has been switched ON more recently, it works as expected

Any suggestion to diagnose this would be welcome !

Very good point ! Shame on me I didn’t check that …

Aliexpress sold me a bundle with 3m of 528 LED/m band (14W/m consumption), the TS0501B and a 3A 12V power supply …
Consumption : 3 x 14W = 42W (plus the TS0501B’s)
Power supply : 3A x 12V = 36W
