Hi,
I have two questions about Ledvance (Tuya-based) lights in ESP. I’m still fairly new to it, so I might have missed something in the docs, if so, plz let me know! I already managed to move my plugs to esp with cloudcutter, no problem. Also a TW bk7231n lamp, where I could disassemble and check for the pins used, so I do understand the basics but am still a newbie, which brings me to my questions.
I managed to install kickstart on last gen bk7231n/cbu chips running firmware 1.3.1 (these were pretty much their last wifi products before Matter). But now I’m kinda stuck, so:
-
Did by any chance someone disassemble one of these RGBTW bulbs or know how the pins are assigned? Colors on Pins or is there a Clock/Data pin? I played around a bit but only got a bulb to flash white once via P24 or P26. Just some pointers would help (at worst, I can still disassemble one).

I also have LED strips under their “Smart+ Wifi” brand. I can exploit them no problem and reading the pins here should be doable, but they create tunable white via a neutral white LED mixing with blue or red-green respectively. Basically they are RGBW Lights that the firmware represents as RGBCW/RGBTW lights. How would I best go about writing firmware for that (didn’t find anyone who did so far, but maybe I used the wrong search term). PS: I’m not talking about color_interlock, but a “normal” RGB Wheel and separate CW-WW selector that does the job.
If anyone has any experience I’d be grateful. ![]()
