I’ve bought a few of these sensors before, they’re in use and work great. The reason for choosing them is they use 3xAAA batteries and so battery life is really long and i’ve found their range/accuracy fine (they may not work great in huge rooms but in small areas, using them like break-beam they work well for me).
My original ones identify as:
TS0202 by _TZ3000_o4mkahkc
And have the blue LED inside them for pairing notification and motion sensor activation.
I then bought another 3 from Aliexpress - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006425978005.html
However, these don’t work the same way and I’m looking to return them as faulty.
They identify in ZHA the same “TS0202 by _TZ3000_o4mkahkc”
Physically they look the same, same boxes, etc, same blue led (I’m aware there are some red led’s)
But there must be something different to existing devices, despite them showing as same. Any pointers/anyone else had this same issue recently on newer units?
