Ubiquiti Protect G4 Doorbell and G4 Bullet Failed to Connect

I am currently running Ubiquiti Protect 5.3.48 and UDR 4.2.12

  • Core2025.5.3
  • Supervisor2025.05.3
  • Operating System15.2

I have created a local user via the local IP address of my Ubiquiti UDM and gave that user admin rights. I still cannot connect my Ubiquiti camera’s to HA.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I figured this out on my own, I was entering the ip address of the camera which was never going to work even though the HA instructions tell you to input that. Once I changed the IP address to my local ubiquiti network gateway IP address it worked. Posting it here in case anyone else is frustrated and couldn’t get the protect integration working with HA and Ubiquiti cameras.
