First off new to HA. Just installed HAOS on a NUC and getting started. Installed Lovelace and now have this:
Clearly missing some CSS etc. Any suggestions?
Seems you have installed a custom theme?
Asking because I see a “Minimalistic card” label.
If you are a beginner - strongly suggest you not to install any custom themes/cards. Start with standard components.
I do not think you need to “install” it. It comes already installed, right?
Ok - I agree. I think I miss understood this. Deleted it and now this side bar item remains:

This could be a dashboard containing these "custom:button-card"s.
If this is not what YOU created intentionally - if this is just a part of some demo of that custom “minimalist ui” plugin - then you may delete this dashboard.
Go to Settings → Dashboards, select this dashboard & delete it.
(double check if this dashboard contains any valuable views you wish to save)
I did a HA restart and it went away.
