Unable to add 2nd Roborock (Saros 10R)

Hi folks,

I’ve been running our Roborock S8 quite happily in Home Assistant for 2 years. Now I wanted to add a 2nd vacuum, our brand new Saros 10R. However, Home Assistant does not detect it. I restarted the integration, then restarted entire HA.

Does anyone have a tip how I can get it to be recognized?

Usually I do not post a comment like this but…

I have the problem the orher way around. Been running a Saros 10 R for al long time now and I am trying to add a S8.

So I would like to bump this thread. Sorry for the bad news. :frowning:

sorry to hear that you face this trouble. I have to admit that my issue was resolved automatically with the next main release.

Ok, I found the issue. After analyzing the debug log, the only difference between my already integrated S10 and the new S8 was the missing map whcih the S8 had not yet made.

As soon as the S8 made a map, it appeared in the integration.

So, the solution: let the robot make a map (partially is enough) of a room and then the robot is recognized be the integration.
