Unable to configure Linksys Smart Wi-Fi for device tracking

I'm unable to configure my Linksys MR9000 router for device tracking as described in the documentation here: Linksys Smart Wi-Fi - Home Assistant. I disabled the “Access via wireless" feature then rebooted the router. Then I added the device_tracker configuration in my configuration.yaml as shown below. But when I restart Home Assistant I get the error and warning shown below.

Assuming my router is incompatible, is there any other way I can configure WiFi presence detection?

not sure on the Core Integration you are referencing but pretty sure this Custom Integration will work with your MR9000 and provide the device tracking you are looking for too......
