Unable to connect devices to OTBR whilst on Google Nest

I started off using the Thread Network which Google Nest created, however after being plagued by network instability issues, I bought a HA ZTB-2 and I’m trying to create a network with only 1 border router as per this post

I’ve been able to create the network, I’ve made it the preferred network and set it to generate the Android credentials:

However, when I go to add (technically delete and re-add) a device to the network it still goes back to the old Google Nest Thread Network.

How do add devices to the new network?

Same issue here - adding any device still defaults to trying to use the Nest network, even if the Nest hub is turned off.

The mobile device still has the old Thread credentials. If using Android, google around for how to remove the Google Play cache and storage as this is where the Thread credentials are stored and is about the only way to remove them.
