I don’t know where my (local wifi) system got confused but the companion app today insists on Retrying every 60 seconds, with no option to re-enter user credentials. Either the app is missing a “cancel” function or I’m just not finding the magic gesture to stop retrying and begin the reconnect [edit: … with known good credentials].
The HA notifications [edit: “login attempt failed”] had been populated with each attempt by the phone to connect, but mysteriously those have stopped just now (after app reinstall??) which is odd.
Uninstall/reinstall app (“removes all data” from phone) did not help. iPhone Passwords app does not show Home Assistant so is likely not storing this login.
I had been using both a MacBook and a Windows 11 PC to access my HAOS Raspberry Pi, and to do ESPHome Device Builder tasks, so there was a lot of back and forth (because I’m just starting with the first CT clamp sensor). I know the Pi is running as I can reach it from these machines.
I did a quick search here on .community. so hope it’s not a duplicate.
