Unable to Connect Xiaomi Miio Account to Home Assistant

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble connecting my Xiaomi Miio account to Home Assistant. I can log into the Mi Home app and https://account.xiaomi.com/fe/service/login with my password without any issues. However, in Home Assistant, it keeps showing “ATTENTION REQUIRED” and asks me to reconfigure. This setup has been working fine for the past 5 years, so I’m not sure what’s changed. Has anyone faced a similar issue or knows how


to fix this? Thanks for any help!

I can confirm.

Existing devices keep working, but I am unable to integrate new ones. Error as mentioned above.

It must be a issue in the integration, because the HACS module as well as the app do work with the same credentials. Did test to change password to a simpler without many special chars, did not work.

Hi, use the tokens from GitHub - PiotrMachowski/Xiaomi-cloud-tokens-extractor: This tool/script retrieves tokens for all devices connected to Xiaomi cloud and encryption keys for BLE devices., and setup manually using the “manual” option using tokens, then it works again. This is due to recent change on Xiaomi side.

I there. Same iusse from Italy. Tried to insert ip address and token (instead of email and password) but still can’t connect to xiaomi miio account (“de” server).
any news about it?

After manually entering the IP and token, I get a Failed to connect error. Does anyone have an idea why this happens?

Just had the issue and managed to solve it in my case. In particular:

  1. The automated method didn’t work for me so I had to chose manual
  2. The manual method failed for me initially because my device was accidentally disconnected. Similar to the image from @Pandaa
  3. After the device was reconnected and appearing on my Xiaomi mobile app, I retried again adding it via HA and it worked.

So looks like the manual method still works (at least it did for me)

same problem here. Dreame l10 Pro with xiaomi home account. worked for several years. now stopped working, no success mith manual either.

Same issue, tried for several days now and I know my credentials are correct.

Xiaomi Home integration is also broken, doesn’t accept my username/password.
Existing devices keep working but cannot add new ones.
Also doesn’t work via manual IP/Token.
Any solutions?
