It’s one thing to discuss here and complain, but the maintainers can’t fix it if it is not reported as an issue on Github

Actually the HA Xiaomi Home integration page does provide a link to the correct token extractor.

Even authentication via token doesn’t work, I keep getting this error for my air purifier:

I solved that problem by installing the HACS integration and from there I installed xiaomi home and it worked like a charm.

Hi, use the tokens from GitHub - PiotrMachowski/Xiaomi-cloud-tokens-extractor: This tool/script retrieves tokens for all devices connected to Xiaomi cloud and encryption keys for BLE devices., and setup manually using the “manual” option using tokens, then it works again. This is due to recent change on Xiaomi side.
