Unable to install HACS using "Get HACS" add-on

I installed the add-on Get HACS. I’ve followed the installation steps several times but get stuck on step 3 where it says the next steps are in the add-on log file. I’ve included the add-on log file below, I don’t see any further instructions. I’ve restarted HA and still nothing. I found another thread indicating there are no instruction in the log, but that did not help either.

Can anyone tell me what I’m missing?

  2. Start the add-on.
  3. Navigate to the add-on logs and follow the instructions given there.

Did you restart HA as the log file says?

Yes, I mentioned that. I’ve restarted it several times actually, after starting it. The logs indicate the HACS zip file is intalled, but then what?

Not really sure how the addon install works, but usually you get a HACS entry in the sidebar.

I got nothing AFAIK.

Try to see if it is hidden in the sidebar then.
I think it is in your user settings you adjust it.

After the add-on, you still have to do ‘add integration’ and search for HACS.

Thank you! I had to go through the installation process twice, but it worked the second time.
