I recently purchased a house that came with Xiaomi Home system and a lot of devices and automations. Recently I started gradually moving some of the devices to HA. My setup is:
Latest HA running on Raspberry Pi 4 with HA OS. I have a SONOFF ZBDongle-E connected on a USB extension to it.
In the house I have a mix of older and newer wireless switches that are then connected to various relays inside the walls/ceilings.
On HA I installed ZHA + Added Xiaomi Home also. I’m having trouble pairing some of the switches, especially old ones to HA. For example when trying to pair lumi.remote.b186acn01, I don’t see anything in HA, or in the pairing logs. What I did already was delete this device from the Xiaomi Home app → long press the single button on the switch to get it into pairing mode → it flashes 3 times after a long press. However on the HA side still nothing appears. The battery is new. The dongle is super close to the device. I was able to pair a newer device, lumi.remote.b28ac1, without any issues.
Is there anything else for me to try?
