I have Pi 5, and installed HAOS (latest version) on SSD, and I am totally new to HA. I am trying to add Schlage door lock (Model BE468), all my attempts failed. I have Aeotec Z-Stick 7. The lock is apparently sending code (green checkmark on keypad of the door), but Z-Wave Inclusion fails even after 5 minutes. I had the z stick 7 taped to the door lock, Pi 5 within inches of the door. Please help me. Thanks.
Do you have any other Z-Wave devices paired/included? Have you tried "excluding" the lock or resetting it?
The door lock is the my first device I was trying to add, which was unsuccessful. I have factory reset first, then I tried "excluding" lock. I did notice green check mark on my door lock keypad. After this, I tried include, which was unsuccessful. Is there some sort of message in HA that lock is cleared following excluding procedure?
