The backup to the HA Yellow does not work due to a discrepancy in HA versions. So now I’m stuck trying to figure out how to update the Yellow before restoring the Green backup. I get this when trying to restore the backup to the new Yellow.
I have a rescue USB thumbdrive I made for my HA green which contains SSH keys from my terminal. I would just insert the USB drive, boot the Green, and my ssh keys were copied to the root directory. Then I could ssh to the Green. None of this seems to work with the Yellow.
How can I update the Yellow in order to restore my backup?
UPDATE: So what I did was click on the “Create my smart home”, used the same user name and password from the Green, updated the Yellow, then restored the Green backup to the Yellow. Then I powered down the Yellow and connected the ZWA-2 and ZBT-2, powered on the Yellow, and all is well.
