Unable to update to 22.10.0 on RPI?

Hello!

I recently installed HA on an RPI 3b and it’s been going great. Recently I have 3 notifications in settings to update various components.

When I try to update the HomeAssistantSupervisor component, I get the following errors in the log:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/src/homeassistant/homeassistant/components/hassio/update.py", line 254, in async_install
    await async_update_supervisor(self.hass)
File "/usr/src/homeassistant/homeassistant/components/hassio/handler.py", line 45, in _wrapper
    raise HassioAPIError(data["message"])

The above exception was the direct cause of the following exception:

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to proceed? This is a totally standard install from what I can tell.

If I try to update the HomeAssistantCore component I’m told the system isn’t healthy but I don’t get any more detail than that.

Thanks!

I am having a similar problem and can’t figure out how to fix it

are you running on a “supported” operating system?
(You can check it here: http://YOUR_HA_IP:8123/hassio/system/info )

I am not and I saw similar issues.
I was able to work around it.
I was running on Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) and I had to upgrade to Raspbian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) to fix the issue.
The process is explained here: How to Upgrade Raspberry Pi OS from Buster to Bullseye
For me, I think the root cause was that Repository 'http://raspbian.raspberrypi.org/raspbian buster InRelease' changed its 'Suite' value from 'stable' to 'oldstable'
You can see this when you do sudo apt update

hope this helps.,
