I just want to execute the latest update. In the past I never had problems with it…
Now I’m running 0.35.2 and want to upgrade to 0.35.3
I’m using the All In One…
When I login to putty and want to change to home assistant user:
I got the error: No passwd entry for user 'homeassistant'
And when I want to change to virtual enviroment, I got the error: File or directory does not exist.
Nope… I upgraded to 0.35.2 and it was still home assistant… when I wanted to upgrade to 0.35.3 it was changed…
The release of 0.35.2 was december 19th… 0.35.3 was released december 23th… So the update to 0.35.2 went flawlessly… (was still homeassistant). So don’t tell me, it was for months ago… Only with upgrading to 0.35.3 I had that problem…
I encountered the same thing last time I was going to upgrade.
Normally I go to the Getting Started - AIO on the HA website and follow the description on how to upgrade.
This has changed recently. Before it the user was hass, now its homeassistant.
I had the same problem, i think maybe someone have change the description on how to upgrade.
I think i saw somewhere that someone was updating the AIO script, maybe the new script have the new username and thats why the description on how to upgrade have change.
