Installing the HA app on my IPad i got “you are unauthorised” before the inlog window appeared. So no HA… Removing the app and reinstall a backup,i connect to Home assist with my ipadress and worked fine. Installing the app on my iphone works perfect, what can cause the forbidden app install on Ipad 2022
Sounds more like your iPad tries to log in with a stored set of credentials that are wrong.
Unfortunatly the unautorized message appear before input username and password
Check your key chain.
