Underfloor heating with Moes BHT-002 and external sensor

I have a Moes BHT-002 controlling some underfloor heating in the sunroom. It all works fine with the ‘Sensor’ set to AL (that is temperature target is internal temp, and limits on external temp) however I would like to control the temperature using the external sensor (eg the probe under the floor) so I have set the ‘Sensor’ to OU which uses the external probe as the temperature control.

However I can not see any way to get the external probe sensor via zigbee. The manual describes how to do it via the panel, but I can not see anything in zigbee defs etc

Any ideas?

My other thought was to simply use an separate temperature probe and just turn the ‘HEAT’ option on and off using that external device.

I’m afraid these do that. I’ve been running 8 of them for over a year now and they are extremely chatty. To the point that it was overloading my network (70 zigbee devices) and I had to move these to a different coordinator. I’m now running 2 instances of zigbee2mqtt. One for thermostats only and one for everything else.

Major PITA if you ask me. They are also really prone to display faults. I don’t have a single one that would be showing correct time now.
