Hi all, I’ve looked at the documentation for the HA Vacuum integration and Matter integration, and there isn’t anything mentioned about the “Clean Mode” control and the options it shows available when I add my Eufy e28 Omni vacuum cleaner. See screenshot below.
Per room/custom area cleaning is not yet available in HA yet (are possible when this device is added to HomeKit), so I am interested in how “Eufy Customize Mode”, one of the available cleaning modes, is meant to function because the idea of having a custom task option beyond ones that will cover the whole home are interesting in the interim.
In the Eufy and Eufy clean apps, I can create custom tasks, however I don’t see a way to designate any one of these tasks as the “default”.
I tried pressing “Start Cleaning” from my Dashboard card whilst “Eufy Customize Mode” was set as the Clean Mode to see what it did, and it ran my current settings for “Home Clean”. However this seems to be the same behavior as when I press Start Cleaning with the Clean Mode set to ‘Auto Mop and Vacuum’. Perhaps this is a limitation until the HA Matter integration is updated? Any insights in how this control is intended to function would be greatly appreciated.
