I’m a little confused on how my HA is configured. When I ping homeassistant.local it replies with the IP addess of 172.16.3.32, however when I enquire ifconfig at Terminal and SSH, it shows me the ip address for eth0 as 172.30.33.1. Could someone please enlighten me if there are separate ‘layers’ inside HA?

I guess this is because you are running the container version of HA.
how do I ‘access’ the container?
I don’t know, I have no knowledge/experience of running docker.
Maybe you can change your topic title to make it less general/more specific to get help or find it yourself by searching/reading.

Thanks Nick4, I’ve used HA for a while, however it is only now i’m struggling to control the container. I inquired at the CLI if there is docker but the system says command not found meaning there could be no docker from where i’m looking at. I hope someone could provide more details.
Hi, I know close to nothing about the containerized version of HA and I made an assumption - which could be wrong.
Are you using nginx?
Maybe it’s not a bad idea to reveal some details about your system.
