I’ve recently installed some UniFi hardware (UCG MAX, USW Pro Max switch, some APs, etc) at home and I have UniFi OS 5.1.37 installed on a Windows 11 PC (in WSL2).
In it’s default state, there is no local IP address and port that I can connect to for the HA UniFi integration.
After doing some searches, I’ve seen multiple ways to expose a local IP and port from running macvlan inside the WSL2 environment to create an additional network and IP that can be exposed, to using Windows port‑proxy to just do port forwards.
I am not a *nix guy at all so am just looking for the simplest and most reliable method that will allow me to use the UniFi integration in my HA system (which is running in Hyper-V on a different server) to talk to my UniFi environment locally.
What method are folks who are also running UniFi OS on Windows using to achieve this?
