UniFi Protect Card with Event Playback

It was brought up by @wvdeadhead but I too would very much like a card inspired by the Frigate card that is able to gather thumbnails and play clips from UniFi Protect. I don’t know if that’s even possible, but he mentioned it and I don’t know if a proper request was raised when it was felt to be off-topic, so I wanted to show that I have this wish as well. It would really finish off my all-in-one experience for my Home Assistant dashboard. I run it on an iPad with guided access and a motion detector, so disabling guided access and multi-tasking over to the UniFi protect app when I hear a bump in the night is a bit too cumbersome.

And some might say just use Frigate, but that seems very redundant to me, I already have UniFi Protect as my NVR. I used it for a while. It was fine, but I got tired of maintaining it when Protect suits my needs just fine, I just can’t access it as seamlessly.

Would love this feature as well.
The frigate card is the best template for a camera based card in the front-end. Any steps in that direction for Unifi Protect (or generic rtsp streams) would be great for the HA front-end experience. Got my vote.

Thanks yea I did forget.
I do really like the Frigate card.
I just finished removing it from my Lovelace.
It’s a shame, because it’s neat.
I just don’t have the time to maintain Frigate anymore, and storage is expensive when I’m already paying for it in UniFi lol.
