Unique ID's?

Hi

After adding a couple of IKEA Timmerflotte sensors (Matter over Thread), it has come to my attention, that the devices apparently just are created with the same ID and an increasing number.
Isn’t it possible to get the device (and corresponding sensors) created using a unique ID from the sensor - like e.g. a MAC address exists on other devices - so that in case you have to re-pair/re-enroll the devices, it would go in on the same unique ID ?

If I got you right, you can simply give your device a useful new name and renew the entity ids

Doing this makes you completely independent of the real device behind.

I know - I just think it would be easier if a unique ID was assigned when adding the device (based on a unique identification from the device itself)
