Unknown shown for many sensors in HA for android tablet

Hello all,

i have this lenovo tablet , anroiod 10, which i have installed the companion app (latest version, also my HA is latest )

i have enabled few sensors in the companion app
however in HA some of them appear but some are kept “undefined” (some are ok, like battery value, etc)

for example, wifi IP sensor is shown in the companion app manage sensors screen with correct value, but in HA is undefined

i attach 3 screenshots:

  1. in the companion app, that the manage sensors show values and enable
    2.the tablet version and andriod version
  2. the HA screenshot shwoing the wifi IP for example undefined

i restarted ofcourse everything and waited for sesnors torefresh (ny setting is 15 mins in the app)

any idea?

the sensors will update the next time they are updated or re-registered so next time the state changes or next time the app or HA core updates

hi thanks for the reply,

some of the sensors are updated and some not for the same device
other devices, such as my mobile xiaomi 14 is working well for all sensors

is this the as the bug reported ?
is there any workaround how to force refresh the non-updated sensors ?

yes thats the bug, my comment mentions the cases for when they will receive an update those are the workarounds.
