Unknown Z-Wave JS Device/Manufacturer

Running HASSIO on RPi with:

  1. core-2021.4.3
  2. supervisor-2021.03.9
  3. Home Assistant OS 5.13
  4. Aeotec USB Z-Wave Stick 5 (ZW090-A)

I successfully paired an Aeotec NanoMote Quad (4 button remote) to my Z-Wave network but, it’s showing as a generic NODE 51 without any attributes like manufacturer, model, e.t.c. If button 3 is pressed on the remote, logs show:

2021-04-12T08:11:57.499Z CNTRLR « [Node 051] received CentralScene notification {
“nodeId”: 51,
“ccId”: “Central Scene”,
“ccCommand”: “0x03”,
“payload”: “0x3e8003”

I then tried to test if I can set any device config parameters by calling the zwave_js.set_config_parameter. In this case, changing parameter 43 from 0 to 1 which, enables the buzzer alarm when battery is running low. Logs show:

It is probably asleep, moving its messages to the wakeup queue.

It appears that the interview revealed several attributes that should’ve been added to the node on my stick. Any ideas?

A battery-operated device can take quite some time or a few manual wake-ups before it’s completely interviewed. The log should move forward between the different stages outlined on Z-Wave Query Stage - Home Assistant (home-assistant.io)
