Hello!
Have anyone exprienced unstable Zigbee network after adding Kajplats bulbs? I included a kajplats 1500 lumen bulb in the network and today half of the netwok fell out. It might very well be a coincidence, but the network have been very stable before.
Did you do a search on that brand? No experience personally, but searching google a few hits came up. One of them was ‘here’
I have since been able to pair my bulb in Zigbee mode using the 6-cycle reset followed by 15-cycle zigbee pairing cycle.
And has worked without hickups in the network for several weeks
Do these bulbs route the mesh?
Are you physically turning them on and off with a dumb power switch? IE removing the mains instead of telling it to turn on and off the LED ionside?
I had a similar experience just today with the Kajplats GU10. I turned them on and off 12 times to trigger the (seemingly undocumented) zigbee mode and was then able to connect them to my network via Zigbee2mqtt. But after that, all my other Zigbee devices did not respond anymore. Restarting home assistant or zigbee2mqtt did not change that.
To restore the other devices, I had to bring each device into pairing mode. All devices were then recognized again, thankfully I did not have to reconfigure them completely. Manually triggering the interview or reconfiguration in Zigbee2mqtt did not work.
For now, I have reset the Kajplats bulbs in matter mode (6 power cycles) and use them as regular light bulgs. If the zigbee network stays stable, I will try to add a second thread network and check the ikea bulbs again.
My setup:
- Home Assistant Green with zigbee2mqtt, ZHA is disabled
- Home Assistant ZBT-2 in zigbee mode
