HA claims it’s at version 15.2 (both on the “About” page and in terminal) but the settings page still offers me the update from 15.1. If I open the update dialogue it claims 15.1 is the current version but if I try to run it it fails with a message saying that 15.2 is already installed. If I try to skip the update it fails claiming that there is nothing to skip.
I’ve rebooted HA (it’s a bare metal install on a Wyse thin client) but the update is still offered.
This sounds like a not-a-problem problem, but it is a nuisance.
Yes, I did have the 15.0 update problem but I simply reverted to 14.2 until 15.0 was working.
Yes, I have read the “should I skip 15.0” article, which doesn’t seem to be relevant to this instance.
It is just the sensor that is not updated yet.
Maybe it can be updated by going to Settings → Updates → the refresh icon in the upper right corner.
Or you can just wait it out till Supervisor have run its checks, which it does with some intervals during the day.
I see where this thread is marked as solved. Not sure of the protocol here. Please let me know if I need to start a new thread. In the meantime I’ll add my observations here…
I have been trying to upgrade my HAOS installation of “Home Assistant Operating System” from 15.1 to 15.2 for weeks now. I had been using Firefox and have tried control-F5 before and after this upgrade. I have even tried Chrome to make sure it was not a Firefox issue. After the upgrade, HAOS appears to be running as expected. However, it still announces there is a “Home Assistant Operating System” upgrade from 15.1 to 15.2 available.
In the meantime a “Home Assistant Core” update appeared and was installed with no problems. I have tried again to install “Home Assistant Operating System” but the results were the same as described above.
About:
Installation method Home Assistant OS
Core 2025.5.3
Supervisor 2025.05.1
Operating System 15.1
Frontend 20250516.0
Ah! My issue may be different than the OP’s. I see where he states the ABOUT show the current HAOS as 15.2. And questions why the offer to upgrade from 15.1 to 15.2 still exists.
Whereas my issue is that the upgrade apparently does not take place. As my ABOUT still suggests the current HAOS is the older 15.1.
As such, I’ve created a new thread here asking for help with this problem:
