For many months my simple automation to turn on the front porch light when motion is detected on my Ring doorbell (between sunset and sunrise) has been working flawlessly. Then, after installing the November updates, this is no longer working.
HA does see activity in the Ring doorbell device record; it’s just that the automation is no longer firing. And of course I can toggle the light directly or even issue a command to Alexa. No changes have been made to HA or the devices in question.
The only thing tracking here is applying the system updates. The automation was working before but not now. I believe I was on September versions of Core and O/S when the November update was applied.
