Update firmware lost connection TAP 110 - 115

Hi everyone, I’ve noticed that among my six Tapo P110 and P115 devices, one of them suddenly stopped working with Home Assistant.

After some investigation, I realized that this specific device had automatically updated its firmware — the auto-update setting was enabled.

It seems the new firmware introduces the usual authentication issues that prevent proper communication with Home Assistant.

I’m attaching the connection error along with screenshots comparing the previous (working) firmware and the updated version that breaks the integration.

Having the same issue
Any way to fix it?

Hello , they probably have to solve the developers because in the past between firmware and more , the problem is not new … !!

I found a way to make it working again

I first deactivated the „work with third parties“ option in the app and then activated again.
And the plug started to work again with HA

I tried now and it works !! Thank you very much !

I was about to try this after my P115 stopped working after a FW upgrade yesterday. However I discovered that the problem had fixed itself after about 11-12 hours (according to when there are any data in the logs) without any intervention from my side.
