i had a January 2026 core update for HA yesterday. I am remote and via Nabu Casa. I chose to install the update. It downloaded and restarted HA. Unfortunately it never restarted and is just continuing to say retry in xxx seconds. There is someone at my home helping and they unplugged and replugged as a possible fix but it did nothing. I just keep getting a screen that says it will retry. is there anything else i can try short of reinstalling and restoring my backup as i am traveling.
Can “someone” restart the complete machine that holds your HA?

I trust that this was a complete reset, i.e. a new start of the computer.

If you are using a machine that uses an SD card, updates where a lot of files are removed and installed is a very stressful time and the time when SD cards are most likely to fail. I would check that.
