hi,
last week I launched the update for OS 7.6 during the day
2 hours later I had still not received my notif that HA add restarted.
it did happen before but I just had to power cycle and it was okay.
but this time it did not work. never booting.
at first, I thought it was my argon case because the fan did some weird noise, but it did the same thing with the bare board (Rpi 4 - 8gb)
I then tried with my Rpi 400 but again nothing
I finally got something when I plugged a screen
something that says failed and a prompt that says it’s in emergency mode and asks to press enter and input “exit” for booting.
it did boot in the console after that (with some other error)
so I tried to update (it was still at os 7.5) via the console or restore a backup but nothing really worked until I tried to update to 7.5 even though it was still at that version.
I still received that startup-notification sometime during my test (an automation that send a notif to my cellphone 1 min after startup) but the instance was still inaccessible.
so when finally it worked, I finished to setup samba share and backuped (yes that’s a word) everything.
then I put the SD card back in the Rpi 4 with the argon case.
so now it can boot, but I have to have a keyboard plugin and do the enter then exit thing
but then it get weird (more).
I can update the core to 2022.4 just fine
crate backup, do some modifying
but
if I try to update to OS 7.6 or power cycle it goes back to 2022.3.6 and OS 7.5
please help
I know that with the samba backup I can start over, but I will like to try fixing it before.
