Updated OpenThread Border Router add-on and Matter devices offline

Running the HA ZBT-2 device on Homeassistant OS. I have only 1 device on Thread/Matter at the moment, an Ikea MYGGBETT door/window sensor. I’m using Home Assistant as the primary border router.

All was working fine, albeit I am rather new to Thread/Matter. I just updated the Open Thread Border Router addon from 2.16.0 to 2.16.1, and the MYGGBETT is showing offline, and I can’t seem to get it back.

Tried pinging it and reports that is has no IP address.

I’ve restarted both addons and even rebooted HA completely. Any ideas?

The device came back online after I let it sit for a while. I guess that’s normal?

Yeah, Myggbett is a semi-passive device that won’t respond to pings or other commands when in sleep-mode. It will wake up at certain intervals and send data, then go back to sleep.

Fun fact: Myggbett means mosquito bite in Ikea native tongue (Swedish).
