Updated Skyconnect driver and zigbee2mqtt. Do I need to repair ALL devices?

Hello!
So as the title says, I updated Skyconnect zigbee to latest driver and Zigbee2mqtt. I mounted the docker container to the same folder with configuration.yaml but all my devices is missing. I tried pairing one of them, and now it works as before, but do I need to reconnect ALL of them? I have a lot of devices. :,(

First check the z2m logfile to see if there are any clues why this is happening. I assume you created a backup before you ran the updates?

Yeah, I use the same configuration.yaml file as before, so fortunately the devices is recognized as the same devices in home assistant. I cant seem to find much in the logs.

Are the devices gone from the z2m web interface as well, or only from Home Assistant?

And z2m consists of more than just a configuration.yaml file, it also has a database file and a state file. Those are also the same as before?

Yeah, gone in HA and Z2M. I mounted the docker container to the same folder as before, so the state and DB file should still be the same. I had to reconnect all the devies. Oh well, hope I dont have to flash the adapter again anytime soon.

It sounds like a configuration issue, an updated firmware wouldn’t cause this. The dongle itself isn’t responsible for keeping a list of paired devices, that’s done by z2m, so if your devices are gone, it has to do with its configuration (an incorrect Docker setup, corrupted files, etc).

Even if the updated firmware is causing devices to not be able to connect to the network, they should still be shown in z2m (just “offline”).

If anyone reads this and is in the same situation: it seems that flashing the skyconnect coordinator changed the iee adresss. If you are in the same situation, it might be possible to change the iee adress to the old one.
