OK all, be gentle with me, don't know the posting conventions, or to use blog or what.
Home Assistant Yellow, and getting message of almost out of storage.
Did the cleanup stuff, 0.9 gig free, and trying to add integration...
is there an easy way to add storage
should I buy a Green and then restore there.
Both? (I have another location the yellow could go to if migrating tough)
Also, using both Zigbee and Z-wave, and (gulp) cost no object, but I like the "appliance metaphor" do not want to take a windows machine and make virtual space for HA... BTDT many times.
Feel free to "school" me on how to post, etc... search did not quite find the things I wanted except references in the blog (yuk)...
Several weeks ago I replaced my Yellow Box with a Mini PC and I could not be happier. The Yellow Box had reached its capacity and especially the 65 ZWave devices gave constant headaches. Everything has been smooth since the change.
Of course it has been pricy aside from the Mini PC I had to buy a separate Zigbee dongle and decided to add a Matter dongle as well.
I am not a very sophisticated techie, but I added a 500 GB solid state disk to my Yellow Box some time ago. This memory was way enough for backups but the capacity of the Yellow Box had nevertheless reached its limit. That, and because it had reached EOL (by HA Nabu Casa), was the reasson I replaced it with a mini pc.
