Thank you. Manually typing the command was the only thing that worked. Cut & paste failed.
Installing the previous hassio version as a custom component seems to make 0.61 work.
So copy this file to config/custom_components/hassio.py and restart.
Apologies if you already have
For future ref, itās worth installing the Hassio Terminal addon, so you can get to your Raspberry Pi using a web browser using this URL http://hassio.local:7681/
saves messing with SSH Clients on windows
can you detail what you changed in google assistant/home.
I looked that my configuration.yaml, and my settings donāt use customize so not sure why they say it used to be the case.
Oldbloke
I did have SSH installed, but after updating I can not get in anymoreā¦
I am in the same boat. I clicked on the upgrade, it rebooted and I now have loads of errors everywhere. I cannot start SSH as the HassIO menu has gone. So I am stuck! Aany recommendations for downgrading when you donāt have SSH?
Do you run HA on a Raspberry? If yes, try to connect a monitor and a keyboard.
I think everyone have the same problem nowā¦ And since I also donāt have SSH anymore I will just wait for the next update before reflashing hassio and restore my snapshotā¦
I am back at 60.1 thanks for the help!
Can you get to the tab using the URL?
https://your duckdns name/hassio/dashboard
and install the terminal addon ?
SSH did work after I re-attached the private key file in the SSH client!
Me too! Fortunately I changed my SD Card a few days agoā¦so changed it back and Iām up and running again.
This URL just results in a timeout.
Being away from home at the moment I have no facility to try a keyboard and screen. I didnāt think we could log in locally that way anyway with Hass.IO?
So at the moment, my install is hosed.
Same problem here. Reverting back nowā¦ Fingers crossed.
ā¦waitā¦ waitā¦ waitā¦
5-6 minutes later (RPi3), version 0.60.1 is back online. Thank God!
Waiting for an update before trying again.
How could you āReverting back nowā?
I just downloaded the hassio image from the website and used etcher to write it to my sdcard. I put it in my brand new pi 3 and it installs but I am greeted with this error on first boot.
https://s9.postimg.org/xqijfrqe7/hassio.png
I have not even touched my config file, it is a brand new untouched install.
There is no Hass.io menu on the left and I have no way of installing ssh so I canāt downgrade. Is there any fix?
Thanks.
On Ubuntu i got it āworkingā.
Updated and had the same problems, did docker restart hassio_supervisor
shut down homeassistant and started it again.
Now i am on 0.61.0.dev0
Iām in the same boat as many who donāt have SSH enabled and starting fresh. Guess weāll just have to wait for HASS to update to 61.1 and then start from scratch with a fresh HASSIO image.
The default hassio image does have ssh enabled on port 22222. You just have to add your public key to the authorized_keys
file in the root of the image.
