Upgrade to 2026.2.3 breaks multi-protocol Sonoff Dingle-E

I just updated to 2026.2.3 and my Sonoff dongle-E with multiprotocol stopped working. I’m I correct that this version breaks with multi-protocol.
I did a restore to 2026.2.0 and everything started working again.

So, is 2026.2.3 breaking with multi-protocol zigbee / thread ?

And when I switch to 2 Sonoff Dongle-E sticks, one for zigbee and one for Thread, do I need to paire all the existing zigbee devices again (more then 50 now) ?

Please advice !!!

Thanks.

The HA multiprotocal software/firmware has been abandonded for years.
Perhaps use a seperate radio for each protocal?

2026.2.3 also killed the SOnoff Dongle-P

What the h**l is going on? Hate when they break the system casing more work. Why???

Worse when it comes to using Home Assistant.

I use a “SONOFF ZB Dongle-P Plus Zigbee”, it’s working fine, but that’s for Zigbee.
I did however have all my Bluetooth devices fail to connect after this update (12 x MiTemp sensors). I use a USB Bluetooth dongle for those.
Fix for me. I rolled back to 2026.2.2 and everything was fine again. I installed 2026.2.3 again, and now everything is fine. Go figure!.
Anyhow, might be worthwhile trying a rollback, check everything is working, then update again?

No problem to use seperate radio for each protocol but before switch I want to know if I have to re-paire all my Zigbee device again and modify all my automations and scene’s. This will be a whole lot of works as I have more than 50 Zigbee device. Please advise.

Will I have to re-paire all the Zigbee devices after switching to 2 separate dongles ?

I think if the zigbee IEEE number stays the same, the zigbee network should just stay as is but I have not tested this.
Have recent usable backups and test it.
You are running unsupported and it looks like the answer is 'NoBody knows…'
