I just migrated from a simple Pi case to a Argon One with a SSD. I had a onboard Z Wave RazBerry module that was plugged into the GPIO and a CONBEE II for Zigbee plugged into USB.
I reused the CONBEE II and had to go with a USB Z Wave Hub (Zwave.me). The connections and range really suck now. I had to use a USB cable extender in some cases to get HA to recognize some entities. The Zwave.me USB stick won’t work at all when plugged into the Argon Case directly, it has to be connected via an extension cable.
What the heck is going on? It was more stable and consistent with the cheap Pi Case and a SD Card.
