Upgrading old DSC alarm to Eyezon UNO IP from Envisalink

I have an old DSC 1816 alarm oanel that is not monitored and not used for alarm purposes. I integrated it into HA using an EVL-3 ethernet interface and it’s main job is to provide open/close status of entry doors, and one motion sensor. It was a bare minimum install covering a tiny portion of the house but I never expanded it as I did not care to protect my house via a monitored alarm system given all the free possibilities afforded by home automation.

I just read about the UNO-IP being a good, fully HA supported, upgrade. I am hoping to get feedback from those of you who did this upgrade to better understand the benefits of the upgrade.

I’d like to confirm it is still fully local. Is it?

Does it have its own app? If so, what is it needed for once integrated into HA (and in the process of doing so…)

I am interested in adding alarm sensors in the future that work directly with the panel so all the expansion options are of interest and I assume are all fully supported in HA.

The only downside I can currently think of is that my keypad is a DSC PTK5507 (touchscreen LCD) which I believe is not supported. The keypads supported by UNO look quite low end / tech. Any suggestions here?
