UPS APC CyberPower NUT SNMP - Network Print Server USB - Wavlink

Greetings to all!

I would like to understand how to resolve the communication and interface HA and my three UPS scattered around the house; actually only two, as one is already supervised with NUT by HA, via the USB port of my Synology NAS.

In order to communicate with the other two UPSs, but only with the help of the UPS software (APC and CyberPower), respectively via Powerchute and Powerpanel, which is therefore currently only possible via PC, I use of the Print Server (Wavlink Network model / Print Server USB 2.0) with the management and “enabling” software supplied with them (Networking USB Server V.1.2.0.5 on Windows 10). The two UPSs are seen on the fly and I access all the functions provided by the web.

I ask, is it possible in some way, given that the http communication is activated and works correctly between PC / Print Server / UPS, make it possible to integrate this communication chain into HA, i.e. to be able to insert the print server into HA so that can interface the UPS? Or maybe using snmp, emulating the network card with the PS?

Thanks in advance to those who surely understand more than me and can try a solution !! I await news

Thank you and greetings

I only just recently got snmp-ups working. Not helpful for what you want, but maybe helpful to others or if/when you get a network card for your UPS(s)

Thanks NathanR,

Yes, actually that’s not what I mean, but maybe I’ll add the card in the future or I’ll change UPS!

Thanks bye
