Anyone knows an USB type C (could be B) in-wall plug that can be switched On/Off via Wifi/Zigbee?
All i have seen only can be switched On/Of the 230V plug.
I guess a combination of zbmini (or similar) wired in conjuction with an USB wall-plug of your choice.
I think i´ll have to do that, buy i would prefer an all-in-one solution. The box in the wall has a limited depth for all the mechanisms.
Could a tablet be controlled to start/stop charging with Home Assistant?
I use the KS-604S to manage wall tablets charging via Home assistant (120V, North America). Flashed with Openbeken.
How about this: https://sonoff.tech/product/diy-smart-switches/micro/, plugged into a dumb USB socket?
Thanks, i live in Spain, must be this solution (although it is made for the United Kingdom), but don´t see if the USB ports can be switched On/Off.
I wouldn´t have enough space between the wall and the tablet
Some Zigbee extension sockets have type A. This a UK version.
I have a couple with four USB sockets - they can be switched on and off but only all four together, not individually.
What about this ?
Thank you, but It takes too much space out of the plug.
