I work now since christmas with ha and have to say, wow … really great system. Thanks to all. Now i implemented my AVM Fritz, zwave and usb zigbee and use the Nabu Casa Cloud for the voice assistants on my raspi4. All of this works fine and think, this works much better as iobroker, openhab and fehm and its more flexible as fibaro (my personel opinion). My old system was Fibaro.
Now i didn´t found any informations about both NanoCuls. I have both of them an i hope i can use them too.
Do you have maybe informations for me how to implement this in ha? Is it even possible? Is there maybe a integration like to zigbee?
In general it should be possible to use the CUL with Homegear, which can be used with the HomeMatic integration. But that only makes sense if you use HomeMatic devices, plus some MAX devices if I’m not mistaken. I’m not aware of an integration to directly make use of the CUL in Home Assistant.
Can’t find anything else on this topic on the internet. So far I am also using a NanoCUL stick on my Raspberry Pi with FHEM to switch my 433MHz plugs, the stick was basically found out of the box. If this were also supported on Home Assistant I think I would also switch, as otherwise I would need to exchange all those plugs that basically still work for simple light switching.
Has anyone done that successfully?
Same here, currently I am moving from fhem to HA and we have an awning controlled at 433 MHz via a CUL in fhem. Any ideas how to get this working in HA?
I would also be interested in that, so i could remove my fhem installation.
What I do now is, to “sync” between HA and FHEM with MQTT.
this way I do not need to touch fhem to control my 433mhz devices, like Somfy RTS Shutters and plugs in fhem, but can do everything in HA.
As a workaround it’s ok, but I would like to get rid of fhem one day, but first I need to solve my 433mhz-cul problem.
